Clients have found it as hard to make a scheduled meeting time as I have. So, I have come up with an alternative approach to nutrition and fitness counseling -- texting! No matter where you are, as long as you have your phone on you, you can reach me with a text message OR voice message. This is a PAID SERVICE set up as a bi-weekly subscription payment. Cost is $79 / month.
Why subscribe? Let's say you are standing in line at a fast food restaurant and you need help choosing a healthy meal -- just text me (or leave a voice message to which I will immediately respond via text) and I will help you choose a nutritious meal on the spot! Or, let's say you had an awesome jog and you need to let someone know .. text me! Or, you are having trouble getting motivated to exercise .. let me know and I can be your reminder and hold you accountable! Stuck in rut when it comes to what to eat? We can come up with some healthy alternatives to your current diet. Need help increasing the nutritional value of certain meals? There are simple things you can do that will boost nutritional content. Need more accountability when it comes to what you put in your mouth? Simply text me what you eat when you eat it. I will give you a rough idea of how many calories you just consumed! Whatever your fitness or nutrition need or goal, we can work together through this Monthly Subscription Service.
I created this so that I can be available to you the minute you need me at a very reasonable price. Think about it -- That's 4 weeks for $79! Most dietitians or personal trainers charge $50 to $70 for a one hour session. Oh, did I mention that I am a Registered Dietitian AND Certified ACE Personal Trainer?
OH! Don't forget the GAS $$ you'll save not driving to meet up!
All you have to do is hit the subscribe button below and set up your subscription through PayPal. I will text you once the subscription payment goes through and you will be on your way to a fitter, healthier you -- Just imagine how helpful it will be to have your own personal trainer/registered dietitian at your fingertips wherever you go!
NOTE: If you do not have a phone that is easy to text on, NO PROBLEM. You just need to be able to RECEIVE texts. Calls go to voice mail on my phone and I will respond immediately with a text message. So, YOU DO NOT actually have to text, voice messages are fine!
SPECIAL NOTE: All NEW clients will be sent a form via email to fill out and send back so I can work up a health history on you. This in itself is a valuable service .. and NO EXTRA COST!

For now, "Texting Nutrition & Fitness Consultant" is the ONLY service currently available by Laura S. Garrett, RD, ACE certified personal trainer. Laura homeschools her 3 children and meeting in person is just not possible at this stage in her busy life. This is also why phone calls are not answered and calls will go into voice messaging.
